  • 503 is back to high quality food and service again. John is back in charge. The cocktails are excellent, the happy hour menu is great and the regular menu is excellent. Try the Mac n cheese. Chicken Marsala and Chicken Parm. As good as Avanti or in some ways better. So lucky to have both in town.

  • For years I've avoided this place despite the fact I live only a few blocks from the restaurant. I thought this was a hoity toity establishment with overpriced food. Boy was I wrong!! First of all, the service is warm and friendly, the atmosphere is chill and laid back and best of all the food is excellent and well worth every penny. My friend and I went here for happy hour (by now we've tried half a dozen places for happy hour). I had the pasta of the day which was pork shank sauce with bespoke pasta. It was soooooo good with plenty of meat and a thick unctuous sauce. At $13 it was such a good value. If I had to find a flaw it would be that since the pasta was folded into a cannoli shape, the center part with multiple layers was a bit more al dente than I like but that's a minor quibble. Overall it had an excellent flavor with a generous portion. My friend had the sirloin burger for $10 which she said was delicious. Also a good size. As usual she had the house wine and I had fresh made lemonade with cranberry juice. Both were excellent.

  • Wow: this place is amazing. Service providers from bartender to table: friendly, knowledgeable, & professional. Wil was great and created a fantastic guest experience. Don’t miss out on booking your next dining experience here. BTW, the French onion soup was exceptional!!!

  • We were here on a rainy Sunday and it was pretty dead. They have a family meal special on Sunday: two salads, roasted brussel sprouts, and two 12” pizzas for $50. We did the Italiano and Fennel Sausage pizzas. Both salads came with a creamy dressing. It would have been nice to have two different kind of dressings like an oil based one to mix it up. They forgot to put the olives on our pizza, which we had to point out, and so got them on the side afterwards. Everything tasted pretty good. I really enjoyed the Italian style pizza crust and the brussel sprouts still had a crunch.

  • I only have two qualms with this place that I'll list at the end, but, all around a really great place. The staff was extremely friendly, they have a good variation of American and seafood options and have unique dishes. I ordered the chicken plate and was surprised to receive chicken wings with asparagus and mashed potatoes because the menu didn't disclose that they were chicken wings (I thought it was going to be a grilled chicken breast), but they were cooked to perfection and extremely juicy. My husband ordered the wagu burger and was a bit disappointed that the patty had no flavor or seasoning to it but he could at least taste that it was indeed freshly made and grilled and not frozen at all. The fries were really good too. The prices were fantastic with today's economy and you do absolutely get high quality food. The environment is very nice with low lights and a peaceful environment with booths and tables. We each ordered a drink, and appetizer, and an entree and the total was just barely $100 so that was really nice for us while also having high quality food. Crab cakes were also wonderful. My only two issues: The Google listing of this place shows a steak plate which is why we went there in the first place, only to find no steak options on the menu except for the wagu burger and steak bites appetizer so their menu must have changed. There was a traveler with his suitcase just hanging out at one of the tables and wasn't eating anything and wasn't kicked out for it. He was also quite rude to the waitresses and had been fully expecting to stay there till close to use the WiFi. That really tainted the vibe and feel that this place that was obviously trying to maintain a fine dining feel but that was being compromised by allowing him to just hangout in there. I don't believe any restaurant should allow this and reccomend for them to go find a Starbucks. We were very bothered by this as this was our first date in 2 months.

  • I came here tonight to support my friends band that was performing here, and decided to order some dinner. ZERO regrets!! I had the mushroom risotto and a wedge salad, both were amazing. I’ve had a mushroom risotto at Hell’s Kitchen and this restaurants risotto blows HK’s risotto out of the water!! I will definitely be back. Good times, great service and delicious food!

  • You know it’s going to be fun when the bartender is fabulous! Shout out the JR as he is the vibe of the whole restaurant and bar. Seating at the bar is fun with great service! He has his own drink: The Red Lotus! Don’t miss it! Food is great with a good happy hour menu. Parking is easy and during the summer great outdoor seating options. On Monday they have a 3 course Italian dinner and on Tuesday’s a 3 course “supply chain” dinner which changes every week! If you haven’t been here GO! We had a great time and will go back soon.
